Wet and Dry Chemical Compounder - Bedford, OH - Job 26-00250

Pay Range: $20.00 – $25.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

Manufacture seeking a detail-oriented Wet and Dry Chemical Compounder for a premier manufacturing facility in Bedford, Ohio. The ideal candidate would have previous experience accurately mixing and producing materials according to precise formulas and strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Batching & Mixing: Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials (wet and dry) in the proper sequence to produce high-quality finished products.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of materials and production details using batch record tracking systems.
• Quality Control: Conduct in-process checks and spot-checks of ingredients to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and sanitize compounding equipment, including extruders and blending machinery.
• Material Handling: Safely move materials, load/unload containers, and maintain an organized work cell.
• Safety: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear required PPE when working with irritant chemicals.

Skills & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, and / or Higher Level of Education
• Forklift Certification and basic computer skills are a plus
• Experience: Previous Tow Motor (forklift) experience is required
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read/understand specifications and use measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, scales)
• Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic math, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand/walk for the full shift and frequently lift 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 150 lbs. with assistance)
• Traits: Strong attention to detail, punctual, and a desire to cross-train
