Certified Weld Inspector - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 25-01137

Salary Range: $50K - $70K Permanent Position with Benefits / Sign-On Bonus!

Cleveland, Ohio area Manufacturing Company seeks a Certified Weld Inspector who is experienced with inspecting welds for the following: Gas & Oil, Military, Aerospace, Automotive, Structural Components, and/or Pressure Vessels. This position is for a Leadership Role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School, GED, Vocational School, Technical School, Trade School, Associate degree and/or Higher Level of Education with specific Welding Certifications (CWI) or (CAWI) with a minimum of (2) years of hands-on Weld Inspection experience in a plate fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Candidates are expected to provide leadership for the Companies welding program to include: welding program oversight, teaching and mentoring the welding team members.
• Candidates should be able to write and administer WPS/PQR/WPQs
• Preferred Candidates would have CWI or CAWI Certification documents and experience with welding processes such as SMAW, SAW, FCAW, GMAW and GTAW.
• .Candidates should be familiar with weld industry standards and specifications such as ASME, AWS, ISO and/or NACE.
• Candidates should have experience performing NDE inspections, Mag Particle Testing (LVL I/II), Dye Penetrant testing – LVL I / II and Visual Testing – CWI
• Candidates must have solid Verbal and written communication and documentation skills.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
