Electrical Designer - Canton Ohio - Job 26-00117

Salary Range: $35k - $70k Permanent Position with Benefits

We're looking for an Electrical Designer / CAD Operator who enjoys turning ideas into real-world electrical systems. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on design experience, exposure to multiple project types, and the chance to grow alongside experienced project managers and engineers. You'll work on real projects—from concept through construction—using CAD tools to design electrical layouts that meet code, budget, and performance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Create electrical layouts, schematics, and drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD)
• Assist with electrical system design for commercial and industrial projects
• Perform basic load and voltage drop calculations
• Help select electrical components and materials
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades
• Support projects during construction and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD preferred)
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred, not required
• Understanding of electrical codes (NEC) and basic design principles
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced project environment
