Controls Automation Systems Engineer - Akron, Ohio - JOB 26-00120

Salary Range: $70K - $90K + OT pay Permanent Position with Benefits.

Akron Area Company is seeking an Automation Systems Engineer, open to 30% field service, who is proficient with PLC/HMI systems to engineer, test, commission and support measurement and control Systems.

Requirements:

• BSEE (Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering) strongly preferred
• 5 years' plus of hands-on experience in automation systems for industrial process control.
• Must be proficient designing and programming PLC / HMI systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experienced.
• Must be able to travel both domestic and internationally. (30% travel)
• Electrical design, documentation, test and debug equipment prior to shipment
• Setup and configure drives
• Willingness to travel to both domestic and international locations – 30% average to support start-up and commissioning systems at customer facilities.
• Troubleshooting, diagnose and repair
