Machine Shop Supervisor - Minerva, OH - JOB 25-01600

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

This employer seeks an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor with strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of machining processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School, GED, Machinist Training / CNC Certification with a minimum of (5) years of hands-on Machinist and Machine Shop Supervisory experience
• Candidates must be capable of supervising and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to meet production schedule
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings, GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and basic math skills
• CAM programming, SolidWorks, and CNC programming is Preferred!
• Coordinate the activities and the operation of CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, EDM's, and manual machines
• Hands-on experience working with programmers to develop best process / tool paths for jobs
• Inspect finished parts with the QC Team to verify part compliance to customer specifications
• Capable of effectively training new employees, teaching safety standards / updating standards in compliance with safety regulations, manage inventory levels of tools, materials, and supplies necessary for production processes
• Must have solid verbal and written communication and documentation skills
