Machinist / CNC Operator - Cleveland, OH - JOB 25-01604

Pay Range: $20.00 – 26.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits.

A machine job shop is hiring for a Machinist / CNC Operator.

1st Shift 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

REQUIREMENTS

• Run a Lathe, Mill, Acme, Index or Hydromat
• Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, and sample workpieces.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Deburring, sanding, completing day to day tasks required to complete and prepare product for next stage of work or process
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following company instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions or correcting minor mechanical issues.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job completion.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
