Manual Machinist - Akron, OH - JOB 26-00215

Pay Range: $20.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Akron, Ohio area manufacturing company seeks an experienced Manual Machinist. This is a hands-on role focused on low-volume, precision component production for custom automation systems and specialty equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 5HP Bridgeport-style manual mills and manual lathes.
• Machine low-volume, precision components from aluminum, alloy steel, and stainless steel.
• Read blueprints and work directly from sketches/designs to hold tight tolerances.
• Select appropriate tooling, indicate parts, and verify work-holding using NMBT tooling systems.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
