Quality Inspector - Akron, Ohio - JOB 26-00228

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Akron, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire a Quality Inspector who is familiar with familiar with quality of weldments and use of calipers and height gages.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher-level education
• Must be familiar with welding inspection quality & weld etchings
• Interpret blue prints / drawings for proper welding codes and specifications
• Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC) used to monitor and improve manufacturing processes by measuring performance in real-time, analyzing data (variables or attributes) on control charts, to reduce waste & rework.
• Experienced with gage layouts and gage calibrations to define the accuracy, reliability, and precision of a measuring instrument
• PC knowledge and use
• Posting steel certifications, scrap tickets, in-process sheets, first and last piece, sort and rework tickets
• Works with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) as a standardized framework in manufacturing used to ensure suppliers understand customer specifications and can consistently produce compliant parts
• 1st shift 7am-3pm
