Senior Estimator - Houston, Texas - JOB 25-01584

Salary Range: $92K - $105K Permanent Position with Benefits

Houston, Texas manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Estimator

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or related experience
• Solid understanding of industrial codes, such as NEC, UL, IBC...
• Electrical and wiring knowledge is a big plus
• 8 plus years' experience as an estimator, significant additional applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 8 plus years' work experience using analytic tools (i.e. spreadsheets and database managers)
• 3+ years' experience managing quotations and opportunities in sales
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Prior experience as an Estimator with advanced training in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD experience is preferred
• Researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors then use estimating software with customer-supplied specifications and drawings to determine factors of production that influence the cost of a service or product
• Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work.
• Create bills of material from electrical drawings and/or wiring diagrams
