About This Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a premier engineering firm in the Strongsville, Ohio area to recruit an experienced Senior Civil / Structural Engineer.
In this senior-level role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and designers. You will lead industrial structural engineering projects from conceptual design through to field installation, commissioning, and final client hand-off. If you are a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in heavy industrial design, layout, and structural analysis, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead project execution and mentor emerging talent. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership: Lead structural project teams through planning, scheduling, engineering, and execution from inception to completion.
- Project Management: Define structural project scope, manage budgets, track schedules, and effectively communicate project changes to the team and stakeholders.
- Detailed Design & Analysis: Prepare layouts and designs for foundations, steel structures, building retrofits, pipe racks, and complex process structures.
- Structural Evaluations: Perform seismic analysis, wind load calculations, code analysis, and structural inspections, generating comprehensive engineering reports.
- Client Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact; facilitate and attend client meetings and internal technical alignment sessions.
- Proposals & Estimating: Assist in developing project proposals, including precise man-hour estimations for structural engineering deliverables.
- Mentorship: Guide, coach, and mentor junior engineers and designers to foster technical growth within the department.
Core Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: 10+ years of proven engineering, design, and analysis experience, specifically within an industrial environment.
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. A Structural Engineer (SE) license is a major plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Formally conversant in structural engineering software, including STAAD.Pro, RISA, Mathcad, and advanced Excel.
- Codes & Standards: Thorough working knowledge of building codes and industry standards, including IBC, ACI 318, AISC, and ASCE 7.
- Expertise: Demonstrated capability in steel and foundation design, wind/seismic loading, and structural retrofitting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to write clear engineering reports and collaborate across teams.
Compensation & Benefits

- Base Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 per year
