About This Opportunity

Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a premier manufacturing firm in the Canton, Ohio area to find an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our production floor running efficiently by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all
industrial production machinery and facility systems.

Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on all production equipment and core facility systems to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
  • Electrical Systems: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 3-phase electrical equipment and systems up to 480 volts.
  • Component Replacement: Replace faulty machine components, including motors, bearings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, and sensors.
  • Technical Reading: Read and accurately interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and mechanical drawings.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to unexpected equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Equipment Installation: Install, relocate, and assist with the setup of new industrial machinery.
  • Facilities Support: Maintain shop utilities, including air compressors, lighting, overhead doors, and basic building systems.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete work orders, preventative maintenance logs, and service records.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe work environment and strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Inventory & Optimization: Assist with spare parts inventory management and recommend continuous equipment improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or formal Technical/Machine Maintenance training.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Schematics: Proven ability to read and understand complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical installation manuals.
  • Tool Proficiency: Adept at troubleshooting industrial equipment using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour training/certification is a strong plus.
  • Communication: Solid written, verbal, and technical documentation skills.
