About This Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is assisting an alliance / Salem, Ohio area Manufacturing Firm that seeks to hire an experienced Industrial Electrician / Plant Maintenance Electrician to oversee, inspect, repair, install, and wire all electrical apparatuses, devices, and circuits across our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will troubleshoot complex electrical systems, work with high-voltage equipment, diagnose
PLCs, and partner with plant Electrical Engineers to ensure maximum operational reliability and safety.
Responsibilities
- Electrical Installation & Repair: Install, inspect, repair, and wire electrical circuits, power feeds, apparatuses, and devices of any voltage throughout the facility.
- PLC & Motor Drive Troubleshooting: Utilize a laptop PC to interface with PLC processors, monitor variables, upload software, force logic, and replace AC/DC motor drives, sensors, and analog components.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Isolate circuits, dismantle, clean, adjust, and lubricate electrical assemblies and sub-components in full compliance with safety protocols.
- Crane & Locomotive Control Systems: Repair and configure radio controls, transmitters, and mechanical/electrical components on overhead cranes and facility locomotives.
- Diagram & Schematic Analysis: Read and analyze complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to trace power feeds and resolve non-repetitive electrical issues.
- System Inspection: Inspect air compressor reservoirs, perform oil maintenance, and report mechanical or structural failures to leadership.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with Maintenance Foremen and plant Electrical Engineers to plan scheduled maintenance, resolve emergency outages, and optimize workflow.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, lock- out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and the PTC Quality Management System.
- High School Diploma, Vocational School Certificate, or GED.
- Strong working knowledge of standard electrical principles, NEC codes, and wiring specifications.
- Proficiency using tradesman tools, multimeters, and electrical testing equipment.
- Computer literacy, with experience navigating industrial PC programs and equipment software.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and math skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams.
- 4+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.
- Electrical Journeyman Card or equivalent state certification.
