Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a premier Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturing firm to hire an experienced 1st Shift CNC Supervisor. This full-time, permanent role oversees CNC machining, grinding, and assembly operations, ensuring
high quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct, train, evaluate, and mentor manufacturing staff while fostering a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Production Scheduling: Plan workflows, adjust schedules, maintain inventory levels, and assign daily tasks to balance quality, productivity, cost, and delivery deadlines.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, manage employee relations, and enforce company policies in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Issue Resolution: Act as a hands-on technical resource to resolve daily production challenges, perform root-cause analysis, and conduct accident investigations when necessary.
- Operational Reporting: Ensure accurate record-keeping, oversee shop-floor safety and housekeeping, and monitor departmental metrics.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a CNC machining environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or technical degree in a related field preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Technical & Business Acumen: Strong proficiency with manufacturing software/systems, analytical problem-solving skills, and basic familiarity with using financial statements as a management tool.
- Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
