About This Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a premier manufacturing firm in the Akron, Ohio area to hire experienced Blow Mold Process Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift positions. In this role, you will support direct manufacturing operations, optimize equipment processing, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure high-quality product output in a safe, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Set up, test, and document brand-new tooling and raw materials to achieve optimal production standards; demonstrate deep expertise with Graham and Sterling blow molding presses.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine PMs on molds, fixtures, and secondary equipment; perform minor mold repairs, insert changes, and nesting adjustments.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control issues on blow molding presses and secondary machinery.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect parts against customer production specifications, utilize X-bar/R charts, and maintain accurate quality logs.
- Record Keeping: Safely store molds and fixtures while maintaining complete equipment maintenance and processing records.
- Operational Flexibility: Fill in for production supervisors across shifts as needed and maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced mechanical skills with strong hands-on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls.
- Blow Molding Experience: High proficiency in blow molding process setup and troubleshooting (experience with Graham and Sterling presses strongly preferred; injection molding knowledge is a plus).
- Core Competencies: Basic computer proficiency, strong arithmetic skills (percentages, let-down ratios), and the ability to work independently or in team environments.
- Physical & Visual Requirements: Excellent color distinction and corrected vision (near vision at 12+ inches, far vision at 20+ feet) for quality inspections; clear verbal communication skills.
