Acme Machinist Set Up/Operator - Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00089

Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Shift: Monday Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Responsible for the set-up and operation of one or more Multi/Chucker screw machines.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with Acme Gridley set up
• Working knowledge of tooling and attachments: Dovetail forms, floating shave, knee tools, knurling, tapping, thread rolling, accelerated reaming, recess and pick off attachments.
• Able to set up to completion from print and layout. Including cams, gears, attachments and tooling to finished part.
• Read blueprints and job routings to determine part specifications and order requirements.
• Set all tooling as required.
• Verify first-piece production dimensions using proper measuring instruments.
• Tear down set-ups after job completion.
• Inspect parts for print requirement compliance.

Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
