About the Opportunity
Integrity Jobs is partnering with a premier Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Company in the Canton, Ohio area to recruit a dynamic Applications Engineer.
This is an exceptional "Learn and Earn " growth opportunity designed for an engineer with a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a foundational or advanced understanding of low and medium-voltage power distribution equipment. Responsibilities
- Scope & Specs Analysis: Review detailed technical project specifications to establish job scope and identify specialized requirements.
- Technical Documentation: Outline equipment specifications, functional operations, and develop technical exception documentation for customer submittals.
- Project Estimating: Calculate required engineering and production hours while collaborating with plant management on operational capacity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Sales, Operations, and Contracts teams to guarantee bid accuracy and seamless order handoffs.
- Schematic Design: Create and review one-line diagrams, interpret engineering prints, and prepare comprehensive materials for bid meetings and order entry.
- Technical Advisory: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer inquiries and sales team support.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Low and Medium Voltage Power Distribution Equipment.
- Design Skills: Proven ability to read engineering blueprints and generate one-line diagrams.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, organizational, and technical problem-solving skills.
