About This Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a premier Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturing firm to hire a Senior Level CNC EDM Mold Machinist (Wire and Sinker). This is a permanent, full-time position in a high-precision, tight-tolerance tool and die/mold building environment. The EDM Machinist will be responsible for the end-to-end programming, operation, scheduling, and maintenance of both Wire and Sinker EDM equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program and Setup: Program, set up, and operate CNC Wire and Sinker EDM machines to produce highly intricate shapes with extreme precision.
• Production Scheduling: Manage and schedule workflow through the EDM department to meet tight production deadlines.
• Quality & Tolerance: Machine components within tight tolerances typical of high-quality mold building.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on EDM equipment, including wire spooling, electrode management, and maintaining fluid/deionized water filtration systems.
• Cross-Functional Machining: Assist with manual grinding and mold assembly tasks as needed to support the toolroom team.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience programming and operating CNC Wire EDM and/or CNC Sinker EDM machines.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
• Environment: Experience working in a tight-tolerance mold building or tool & die shop setting.
• Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with surface grinding and manual mold assembly is highly preferred.
• Education: High School diploma, GED and Technical degree or Journeyman card in machining.
