Journeyman Electrician - Canton, Ohio - JOB 26-00245

Pay Range: $33.00 - $35.50/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Integrity Technical Services is assisting a growing industrial metals manufacturing company in the greater Canton, Ohio area that seeks to hire an experienced Journeyman Maintenance Electrician who has a valid Journeyman's card and passes the employers written electrical test. This employer offers paid training programs to build upon your existing qualifications making you a more valuable staff member to the Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Systems Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical systems, including 480v 3-phase and high voltage (69,000v) equipment.
• PLC & Automation: Perform PLC troubleshooting and work with ladder logic, AC/DC motors, and drives.
• Industrial Infrastructure: Maintain overhead cranes, air compressors, and induction furnaces.
• Schematics: Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to plan procedures and ensure minimal operational interference.
• Mentorship: Coach and develop apprentices within the organization's Learner Program.
• Safety First: Adhere to all OSHA standards, NEC codes, and safety protocols for
• high-voltage and & hot line work.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Certification: Must possess a valid, verifiable Journeyman's Card.
• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of a valid Apprenticeship Program (Classroom + OJT).
• Testing: Ability to pass the Company's Journeyman Test (40/60) and subsequent troubleshooting/NEC exams for top-rate advancement.
• Experience: Heavy industrial or steel manufacturing background is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC logic, industrial tool usage, and
• man lift/scaffolding operation.

Working Environment:

• Work in a foundry / machine shop environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. rarely; 25-50 lbs. frequently).
• Must be comfortable working at heights (ladders, man lifts, and cranes).
• Must wear full PPE (Hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, etc.).
• Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and overtime as required.
