CNC Machinist (3rd Shift) - Canton, OH - JOB 26-00588

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
Shifts: 3pm to 11pm or 11pm to 7am

A Canton, Ohio area manufacturing company seeks to hire experienced CNC Machinists who are capable of setting-up, programming / editing, and operating various CNC Lathes & Milling Machines.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate various CNC Lathes and Milling Machines.
• Perform CNC programming and on-site editing (G-Code) to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Inspect finished components using micrometers (inside/outside/depth), calipers (dial/digital), indicators (thousands/tenths), and profilometers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, hand sketches, and schematics utilizing GD&T standards
• Load materials and perform necessary tooling changes to maintain production flow

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Additional Vocational, Technical, or Trade School certification in CNC Machining is highly preferred
• Minimum of (2) years of experience on finishing lathes AND (2) years of experience on milling machines
• OEM-specific certifications (e.g., Haas, Mazak, and/or Fuji
• Proficiency in reading G-Code and fundamental knowledge of CAD/CAM software
• Experience programming and editing Lathe CAM programs
• Strong math skills (specifically converting decimals to fractions)
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions
