Sr. Construction Manager - Columbus, Ohio - JOB 26-00111

Salary Range: $50.00 - $70.00/HR Contract Assignment

Columbus, Ohio area engineering firm seeks to hire an experienced Construction Manager who is familiar with managing the site development to build large scale industrial chemical plants.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering is a plus
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills is a must
• Act as the On-Site liaison to coordinate and communicate between, Engineers, Contractors, Vendors, Inspectors, and the Customer.
• Extensive experience as an On-site Construction Manager
• Review and assist contractors to acquire necessary permits
• Familiarity with site development to build large scale chemical plants is needed
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and various technical drawings
• Experience with large ductwork, industrial facilities control systems, & emissions burn off flares highly desired
• This is a contract assignment projected to last a minimum of 8 months; however, it could possibly last 1 1/2 years or lead to additional assignments
• You will simultaneously manage two projects within 30 minutes of Downtown Columbus
