Welder / Millwright - Mentor, OH - JOB 26-00510

Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits

Seeking an experienced Industrial Machine Mechanic / Millwright with strong Stick Welding experience for a manufacturing firm in the Mentor, Ohio area.
This role is a mix of local work and regional travel (up to 25%).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality stick welding (SMAW) on structural steel and handle various field welding repairs.
• Utilize proper, safe rigging techniques to lift, position, and install heavy industrial steel and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and service industrial machinery and equipment efficiently.
• Strictly adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols; work safely at heights on structural steel or from aerial lifts.
• Operate and maintain a company-issued vehicle, keeping tools inventoried, accounted for, and in top condition.
• Represent the company in a professional, customer-service-oriented manner at all job sites.
• Think critically and innovatively on projects to improve efficiency and workflow quality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Machine Mechanic or Millwright.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational or Technical Training in Mechanical Systems and Welding preferred.
• Active welding certifications (SMAW/Stick) are highly desirable.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for project assignments.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
