Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with an established Architectural Firm in Cleveland, Ohio to recruit a motivated Junior Retail Architectural Designer.
In this role, you will play an active role in producing construction documents, drafting, and performing quality control for commercial and retail development projects. This is an excellent career opportunity for an early-to-mid-level design professional looking to expand their skills in building construction within a fast-paced firm.

Responsibilities

• Construction Documents: Assist in the production, drafting, and coordination of detailed construction document (CD) packages for retail clients.
• CAD Design: Utilize AutoCAD to generate accurate architectural layouts, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
• Quality Control: Conduct document quality control checks to ensure drawings adhere to code requirements, client standards, and structural specifications.

• Building Construction Knowledge: Apply general building codes, materials, and construction methodology knowledge to daily design tasks.
• Team Synergy: Work closely with project managers, senior architects, and engineering consultants in a fast-moving studio environment.
• Site Visits & Travel: Travel periodically to project locations for field surveys, measurement verification, or client meetings as needed.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related drafting discipline required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of architectural design experience focused on the Retail / Commercial sector.
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Technical Knowledge: Working understanding of building construction methods, materials, and architectural detail assembly.
• Soft Skills: Highly organized, goal-oriented, detail-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting.
• Mobility: Flexibility for periodic travel as required by project scope.
