About This Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a leading Youngstown, Ohio area manufacturing firm to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer looking to lead custom automation and power distribution projects from concept to completion
Responsibilities
- Electrical Design: Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts for power distribution and control systems (including electrical control circuits and bus bar systems).
- Component Selection & BOM: Select components and generate the project Bill of Materials (BOM) for products like SWBD, MCC, Panelboard, VFD control, ATS, industrial control panels, relays, and transformers
- Project Management & Planning: Schedule, plan, forecast, and manage technical activities while monitoring budgets, schedules, and personnel performance
- Testing & Prototyping: Build and evaluate prototypes to validate design concepts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product reliability
- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all designs meet strict industry codes and certifications (NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE) and collaborate with third-party certification teams
- Client & Team Collaboration: Interact daily with clients to interpret project requirements, provide field representation, and coordinate with multidisciplinary production teams.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical specifications, manuals, test results, and periodic progress/cost reports for executive leadership.
Requirements
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) OR a minimum of 10 years of proven electrical engineering experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Manufacturing Experience: 3+ years of experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and design.
- Technical Knowledge: 3+ years of experience with electrical engineering principles, circuits, systems, and design tools like AutoCAD or EPLAN *
- R egulatory Compliance: 3+ years of working knowledge with industry standards (NEC, UL, IEC, and IEEE)
