Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced, innovative Senior Mechanical Engineer to join an established engineering firm in Columbus, OH. In this full-time role, you will lead complex engineering projects across all stages of the production lifecycle—from concept design, process piping, and manufacturing to installation, testing, and evaluation. Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Oversee and mentor junior mechanical engineers, designers, and contract technical staff.
• Design & Systems Engineering: Create, model, and refine mechanical components and process piping systems using AutoCAD and specialized design software.
• Code & Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs meet strict industry regulations, client specifications, and ASME standards.
• Analysis & Problem Solving: Apply fluid mechanics and thermodynamics principles to diagnose technical issues, conduct failure analysis, and innovate product design.
• Project Management: Estimate project budgets, scope out development timelines, and collaborate with project managers to deliver assignments on schedule.
• Testing & Evaluation: Direct testing procedures to evaluate structural and mechanical integrity, introducing product improvements based on data.
• Technical Documentation: Draft detailed technical reports, engineering documentation, operating manuals, and design schematics for internal teams and end-users.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver solutions aligned with market conditions and user needs.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited program.
• Industry Experience: Proven background in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in process piping design and ASME codes.
• Technical Software: Proficiency with AutoCAD and standard mechanical design software.
• Core Competencies: Strong command of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, advanced engineering mathematics, and statistical analysis.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills (written/verbal), active listening, and strong interpersonal/teamwork capabilities.
• Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% of the work month from the Columbus, OH office.
