Architectural Field Surveyor - Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00632

Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 (plus overtime pay) Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits

This role focuses on performing precise field surveys for existing retail and restaurant spaces across the US and Canada. Joining a multidisciplinary team of architecture, interior design, and MEP engineering professionals, you will play a critical role in capturing existing site conditions and translating them into accurate As-Built CAD/Revit models.

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically and throughout Canada (typically one 1-day survey per week, occasionally two) to conduct detailed physical inspections of existing retail and restaurant locations.
• Liaise directly with mall Tenant Coordinators and site managers to gain access and complete field evaluations efficiently.
• Measure and verify existing architectural floor plans, structural clearances, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Convert physical measurements into precise As-Built drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit upon return to the office.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in retail or restaurant architecture field surveying.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is required.
• Willingness to undertake frequent short-duration travel across the US and Canada; must possess a valid US passport (or ability to obtain one).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of working effectively both independently in the field and collaboratively within a core team.
