About the Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a premier Civil Engineering firm in the Charleston, West Virginia area to recruit an experienced Civil Project Manager / Water Resources Engineer.
Responsibilities
Utility Asset Management: Evaluate existing service area utility assets and develop strategic recommendations for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement.
Infrastructure Design: Support detailed design for water line and sanitary sewer line rehabilitation/replacement, incorporating pump selection, valve sizing, and mechanical equipment layouts.
Technical Deliverables: Coordinate environmental impact studies, regulatory permitting, alternative analyses, and specialized technical deliverables.
System Troubleshooting: Support hands-on troubleshooting and performance evaluations of mechanical and fluid systems during active construction and final commissioning.
Site Supervision: Monitor construction performance and strict adherence to engineering plans and specifications.
Administrative Management: Efficiently process submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), formal project correspondence, and change orders.
Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear, proactive project communication between internal team members, sub-consultants, and clients.
Public Presentation: Deliver compelling formal presentations to clients, community stakeholders, the general public, and regulatory agencies.
Business Growth: Identify future project opportunities, attend networking events and industry conferences, and cultivate strong client relationships through high-quality project delivery.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant civil/water resources engineering experience.
Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred (or active eligibility to obtain PE licensure).
Leadership & Communication: Strong background managing project deliverables, guiding junior team members, and delivering clear written/verbal presentations.
Mobility: Willingness for periodic travel to local project sites and client meetings.
