Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with an established, high-precision manufacturing firm in the Akron, Ohio area to find a skilled CNC Applications Engineer.

Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Develop, test, and refine machining strategies to reduce cycle times, minimize tooling costs, and maintain superior part quality.
- CAM & Tooling Strategy: Program complex multi-axis toolpaths using Mastercam for mill and lathe operations. Select cost-effective cutting tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Shop-Floor Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with machine setups, tool wear/breakage, and G-code errors directly on the production floor.
- Technical Documentation: Create setup sheets, standardized tool lists, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide and train machinists.
- Quality & Measurement Integration: Introduce and support advanced measuring technologies within the Quality Control (QC) department; maintain compliance with ISO machining standards.
- Software & Metrology: Continuously master related manufacturing software and modern inspection/measurement instruments.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of dedicated CNC programming and machining experience (Extrusion and custom manufacturing experience strongly preferred).
- Software & Code: Advanced proficiency in Mastercam, CAD software (preferable SolidWorks), and manual G-code/M-code.
- Technical Blueprint Reading: Exceptional ability to interpret complex technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering blueprints.
- Quality & Precision: High attention to detail, quality-first mindset, and strong familiarity with ISO standards.
- Professional Attributes: Self-directed, highly organized problem solver with excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
