The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for the physical setup and teardown of injection molding equipment, ensuring that the production lines run efficiently and meet high-quality standards. Responsibilities
- Equipment Setup: Perform the physical assembly, disassembly, and changeovers of dies and molds for production runs.
- Technical Configuration: Execute basic equipment configurations, including managing precise thread sizes and metric specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues during the die/mold changing process to minimize production downtime.
- Material Management: Apply a strong understanding of product material melting points to execute proper purging methods and temperature controls.
- Preventative Maintenance: Ensure all production machinery and tooling are handled safely and maintained according to strict company standards.
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in plastics manufacturing is required (Injection molding highly preferred; blow molding experience will be considered).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in troubleshooting the die, mold, or tool- changing process.
- Precision & Measurement: High competency in mechanical setup, including working knowledge of thread sizes and metric measurements.
- Reliability: Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule consistently and maintain availability for overtime shifts on Saturdays when production demands require it.
