About the Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a premier Akron / Wooster, Ohio area Engineering Firm that seeks to hire an experienced Commercial / Industrial Steel Erector Technician who is able to fabricate and erect structural steel, iron and reinforcing components.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and erect structural steel, iron, and reinforcing components.
• Unload and rig structural steel and composite systems safely.
• Place, bolt, plumb, and weld steel frameworks according to blueprints.
• Install reinforcing materials including rebar, wire mesh, and precast concrete.
• Erect metal buildings including pre-engineered packages and metal decking.
• Install secondary assemblies such as stairs, handrails, catwalks, and guardrails.
• Maintain safety standards in alignment with OSHA regulations and site policies.

Requirements

• Certification: Must hold an active structural welding certification.
• Experience: Proven professional background in commercial or industrial steel erection.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in rigging, bolting, blueprint reading, and field fabrication.
• Location: Must reside in or relocate to Northeast Ohio (Summit, Medina, Wayne, Ashland, Portage, or Stark County).
