About This Opportunity

Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a leading Cleveland, Ohio area chemical manufacturing firm to hire 2 to 3 Packaging Machine Operators. This is an excellent temporary / temporary-to-hire opportunity for individuals looking to grow their careers in process manufacturing.

The primary purpose of this role is to safely, accurately, and efficiently fill and package various types of wet and dry chemical products. Enjoy a stable 4-day work week with three-day weekends!

Responsibilities

• Product Packaging: Accurately fill, cap, and filter wet and dry chemical products according to specific batch instructions.
• Inventory & Labeling: Correctly label, stencil, and package containers based on fill quantities and container types.
• Material Handling: Palletize finished materials and safely stretch-wrap pallets as required by the batch ticket.
• Operations & Tank Gauging: Calculate yields, gauge tanks, and source/utilize butt drum materials.
• Data Entry & Logging: Accurately record production data on batch tickets and in the computer system (including container counts, filter bags used, wash solvent volume, and process start/finish times).
• Quality & Maintenance: Perform equipment clean checks, pull retain samples, and clean/maintain tanks and equipment for subsequent batches.
• Waste Reduction: Actively monitor processes to minimize spills and reduce product waste.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is REQUIRED. Experience in chemical mixing or process manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Skills: Strong basic math skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate production data effectively.
• Equipment Operation: Ability to safely operate a Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift).
• Physical Demands: Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 90 pounds.
• Safety & PPE: Strict compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental policies. Must be able to properly wear required PPE, including a half or full-face respirator for specific job functions.
