Maintenance Technician - Canton, Ohio - JOB 25-01213

Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Canton, Ohio area manufacturer is hiring an industrial machinery Maintenance Technician experienced with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate, Associate Degree or trade school graduate is a plus
• Must be willing to work a schedule of 4 twelve hour days
• Experienced with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting machinery
• Familiar with VFD (variable-frequency drive) that controls the speed and torque of an AC motor by varying the frequency of the input electricity
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automation equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on low voltage electrical systems
• Work within safety standards and minimal downtime in the facility
• PLC, HMI, SCADA systems experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents
• Proficient threading pipe, pulling wires, rebuilding pumps, and other light maintenance work
• Monitor machine performance, perform general maintenance / upkeep
