Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is assisting a premier Detroit, Michigan area Engineering Firm that seeks to hire an experienced Electrical Power Distribution Engineer. In this role, you will lead the engineering and design of low-to-medium voltage power systems, facility lighting, and grounding solutions. This position offers a direct path for technical career growth while working on highly impactful municipal, wastewater, and industrial infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive electrical designs for low and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
- Architect industrial-grade facility lighting and grounding configurations.
- Deliver specialized engineering solutions tailored to municipal water/wastewater treatment facilities and heavy industrial client sites.
- Produce precise electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications via engineering software.
- Partner with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- 3+ years of dedicated experience in low-to-medium voltage power distribution design.
- Documented experience working on municipal water/wastewater or heavy industrial facility projects.
- Exceptional, proven electrical design skills are an absolute requirement.
- Highly computer literate with standard MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio or Michigan is highly preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus, though not mandatory.
