About the Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a premier manufacturing firm in the Twinsburg, Ohio area to recruit a skilled Trim Press Operator. In this role, you will work closely with the Die Cast production team to process, finish, and inspect high-quality cast parts to meet rigorous industry standards.
Shifts: 1 st 7:00am – 3:00pm or 2 nd Shift 3:00pm – 11:00pm (M-F)
Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely set up and operate hydraulic trim presses to cleanly remove flash and excess metal from cast components according to specific work instructions.
- Degating & Material Handling: Manually remove gates and runners from castings. Unload material continuously from cast conveyors to prevent production bottlenecks.
- Quality Control & Inspection: Perform visual inspections of finished parts to ensure quality compliance. Properly identify, label, and tag completed parts using designated instruction sheets.
- Shipping Preparation: Pack and prepare processed castings for secure shipment or transfer to secondary manufacturing operations.
- Documentation & Tracking: Accurately complete required daily production paperwork, including timecards, machine cards, output charts, and preventative maintenance logs.
- Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free workstation to support overall plant productivity.
- Safety Verification: Inspect machinery daily to ensure all structural safety guards are attached, securely bolted down, and all activation handles are in perfect working condition.
- PPE Compliance: Consistently wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the manufacturing floor.
- Lifting Capacity: Ability to perform moderately heavy lifting, reaching, and moving of parts weighing up to 35 lbs.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; ability to read, write, and apply basic math skills to production tracking metrics.
- Instruction Literacy: Strong capacity to comprehend and act upon written directives, technical work instructions, visual manufacturing displays, and verbal layouts.
- Detail Orientation: A sharp focus on safety compliance, operational precision, and visual part-defect detection.
- Interpersonal Skills: Positive attitude with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
