About This Electrical Controls Opportunity Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Youngstown, Ohio to recruit a skilled and experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority for advanced control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, review, and approval of Control Panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), and PLC/HMI programming.
• Generate, review, and approve comprehensive electrical documentation, including loop drawings, I/O lists, load lists, and customer specifications.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting assistance to workshop personnel, field service teams, and end-users for test stand and field issues.
• Execute hardware modifications, programming adjustments, and control philosophy upgrades on Unit Control Panels to meet strict design and client specifications.
• Component Management: Specify required hardware components and manage the RFQ (Request for Quote) process for engineering projects.
• Serve as the subject matter expert to resolve technical queries regarding the integration of customer-supplied devices into the core control system architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on electrical design experience utilizing AutoCAD.
• Programming Allen-Bradley PLCs, Red Lion controls, and Allen-Bradley HMIs.
• Familiar with engineering design software, project management tools, spreadsheet applications, and word processing programs.
