Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated Grinder Operator / Entry Level Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturing client in Cleveland, OH. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude looking to learn specialized machine operations, including cylindrical grinders and edge bevelers, used to produce and recondition industrial circular cutting blades.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized industrial equipment (cylindrical grinders, edge bevelers) to manufacture and recondition 10-inch circular cutting blades.
• Follow a structured three-step machining process across distinct equipment setups.
• Measure and inspect finished workpieces using tape measures, scales, micrometers, and dial calipers.
• Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure precision tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye protection, hearing protection, and dust masks in an active grinding environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic familiarity with manual machine tools and standard mechanical operations.
• Precision Measurement: Ability to properly use and read micrometers, dial calipers, scales, and tape measures.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings.
• Work Ethic: Strong reliability, attention to detail, organization, and solid communication skills.
• Safety Mindset: Comfort working in an industrial environment with noise, sparks, and consistent PPE usage.
• Willingness to Learn: Entry-level candidates with a foundational mechanical skill set willing to undergo comprehensive hands-on training are encouraged to apply.
