Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) - Akron, Ohio - JOB 26-00121

Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits.

3rd shift: 11pm-7am

Akron Area Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician's key responsibility will be to maintain & repair the facility & production equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of machine controllers. Troubleshooting molding machine auxiliary equipment issues. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred OR 5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance
• Experience with blow molding equipment desired but not required
• Must be proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical drawings
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and machine manuals
• Must have good math skills
• Process knowledge of PLC's
• Must have experience/knowledge with methods, practices, tools and materials used in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and machinery.
• Must have working knowledge of plastic molding machine operations.
• Able to operate common types of machine shop equipment
• Must have good mechanical aptitude
• Must have good communication skills (written & verbal)
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
• Must be able to climb ladders, equipment and steep stairs
• Must be able at times to work outdoors in a variety of temperatures
