Pipe Welder Fitter / Underground Utilities - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 26-00225

Pay Range: $27.00 - $33.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Pipe Welder Fitter / Underground Utilities to perform welding, fitting, and underground construction applications.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher-level education
• Perform maintenance on distribution energy piping networks and underground manhole components
• Troubleshooting / diagnose issues with HVAC/distribution functions, including valves, traps, and pressure-reducing valves (PRVs)
• Valid driver's license & willing to work outside 95% of time
• Skilled with stick welding / fitting (6G certified) with 2+ years' hands-on experience or equivalent outside experience and capable of final field "fit ups”
• Capable of running and operating heavy construction equipment
• Skilled to thread and assemble pipe fitting, valves, steam traps, steam and chilled water controls, etc.
• Operate, blowers, pumps, air compressors, jack hammers, power equipment and manual transmission vehicles
