About This Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a POS IT Technician for a leading Akron-area retail employer. This role manages the deployment, integration, and upkeep of retail store technologies, serving as the bridge between Store Operations, IT, and vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• System Admin: Install and maintain Point-of-Sale POS/SCO hardware (Toshiba, Client), registers, scales, and peripherals. Ensure network connectivity (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs).
• Data & Projects: Manage PLU files, tax codes, and pricing compliance. Lead technology rollouts, pilots, and new store openings.
• Support & Vendors: Provide Tier 1 support for front-end staff. Troubleshoot payment processing (EMV, PCI-DSS). Manage vendor service tickets.
• Compliance: Maintain PCI logs and assist with telecom billing administration.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of retail POS support experience in a multi-store environment.
• Cashier experience with credit card reader experience and a strong willingness to learn may be considered for entry level candidates
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent IT certification preferred; IT/CS degree preferred.
• Proficiency with remote support tools (Bomgar, RDP) and retail hardware.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical info for store teams.
