About the Position

Position Summary
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manual or CNC Machinist for a premier manufacturing client in the Cleveland, Ohio area. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, laying out, and operating various manual and CNC machining equipment to produce high-precision parts. You will interpret engineering blueprints, select appropriate speeds and feeds, perform precise quality measurements, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, Client out, and competently operate manual and/or CNC equipment, including engine lathes, boring mills (vertical or horizontal), cylindrical and surface grinders, and Bridgeport mills.
• Blueprint Reading & Layout: Read, interpret, and follow complex blueprints and technical drawings to determine exact machining specifications.
• Speed & Feed Optimization: Calculate and adjust optimal speed and feed rates based on material, tooling, and machine capabilities.
• Quality Inspection: Accurately measure machined parts during and after production; log and record all dimensional measurements to ensure strict quality standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep on assigned machinery and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Manual or CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Equipment Knowledge: Demonstrated competency operating engine lathes, vertical/horizontal boring mills, surface/cylindrical grinders, or Bridgeport mills.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Measurement Proficiency: Skilled in using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
• Physical & Analytical Skills: Strong spatial awareness, math skills, and physical stamina required for setup and continuous machine operation.
