About This Opportunity
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist on behalf of a leading manufacturing client in the Alliance, Ohio area. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist capable of independently setting up, operating, and programming CNC Lathes using G-code, M-code, and CAD/CAM software to manufacture precision parts from complex technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Programming & Setup: Program, set up, and operate CNC Lathes directly from blueprints, technical drawings, or hand sketches.
- Precision Machining: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, determine optimal tool paths, and execute tight-tolerance machining runs independently.
- Code Modification: Utilize and edit G-code and M-code programs to ensure efficient and accurate machining cycles.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect completed components using precision measurement instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Process Optimization: Apply CAD/CAM programming knowledge (Mastercam preferred) to streamline production processes and project completion.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC Lathes.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of G-codes and M-codes; experience with HAAS CNC machines is a strong plus.
- Measurement & Quality Control: Proficient in operating precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to independently read, interpret, and work from complex blueprints and hand sketches.
- Software Skills: Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam experience is preferred).
