Quality Control Technician - Twinsburg, OH - JOB 26-00419

Pay Range: $20.75 – $21.75/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM (Monday – Friday) Overtime as needed
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus! 

A leading manufacturing firm in Twinsburg, Ohio to hire an experienced Quality Control Technician. In this role, you will ensure our plastic sheet products meet rigorous customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Check surfaces of plastic sheets for imperfections, defects, and anomalies.
• Gauge sheet thickness using micrometers and measure length, width, and squareness using a tape measure.
• Conduct color matching utilizing a color meter and test plastic shrinkage using specialized oven equipment.
• Count finished plastic sheets and assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Accurately log and document all inspection data, test results, and quality metrics.
• Participate in production floor training to thoroughly understand all manufacturing positions and processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly follow all written safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a general warehouse or manufacturing setting (prior extrusion experience or knowledge of the plastic sheet extrusion process is a strong plus).
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure, using basic math, and operating hand/power tools (hammers, circular saw, table saw, band saw, nail gun).
• Tow motor / forklift driving experience (Forklift Certification is a plus).
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10lbs, frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Strong time management, multitasking abilities, and a deadline-oriented mindset. Must be able to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Exceptional punctuality and regular, reliable attendance are required.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Minimum requirement).
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
